Or at least should be the title – and indeed could be.
That’s right! Our favourite egg is playable in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games! (What a mouthful!)
Eggman at the Olympic Winter Games!
Plus Doctor Eggman has been added to the characters page of the MSOWG website, along with his wonderful laugh!
The game will be out in the UK on 16/10/2009 (That’s Friday!) for Nintendo Wii and DS. Put that date in your diaries! Or just remember, when it’s that close. 🙂

What is Project Needlemouse? An Eggman Chaos made Needlemouse banner.
Sega have just posted a new, ambiguous teaser trailer for a new “2D adventure” and as if gold rings, drilling sounds, jumping sounds, and a winged ring shilouette weren’t enough, It’s called NEEDLEMOUSE for goodness sake! That can only mean one thing – THAT HEDGEHOG! But where the blue one goes, a certain doctor should not be too far away – and I don’t mean Doctor Who!
So how does Doctor Eggman fit into the puzzle? If at all *shivver*? Will he be new style, or maybe classic style? Will the game be 3d, but with a fixed camera angle, or completely 2D and drawn? all this reamains to be announced by SEGA – who seems to be back on form with their original logo and SE-GA jingle, and it’s excrutiatingly exciting!!

Wow! A FABULOUS looking game that includes playable (I think) Dr. Eggman!
Eggman in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Copyright SEGA.
It looks like they are bringing back the fabulous feel of CLASSIC Sonic, which I really think is the thing to do. Not “moving with the times”, but keeping it a pure, true to itself media property. I think there will be more fans if they do that. Then it’s not pretending to be anything.
And did you SEE that MARVELOUS Egg-Ship car! Oh! this really looks like something special! HA HA!
BTW. Eggman Chaos is still coming.

I apologise for the lak of updates. It was partly due to lack of Eggman news, and partly due to changes in the Fanfilm cast. After holding out for a Long time, Chase McCaskill finally said that he could not take the parts due to other commitments. I will put the changes here.
Onto official news.SEGA have decided that they will not include our favourite doctor in their new game, Sonic and the Black Knight, acording to Wikipedia. They said –
“Also, unlike Sonic and the Secret Rings, Doctor Eggman does not make an appearance in the game, currently making this the second game (behind Sonic Eraser) to do so.” – Wikipedia
How absolutely TERRIBLE! How dare they leave out the genius of the GREAT Doctor Eggman!? Well – they dare. I also personally do not like a sword wielding Sonic – feels a little like Shadow and guns… Maybe I’m just a little too Old School. So, If you buy Sonic games maily for Eggman, This one may not be for you. Although, It does look fun, and it has a GREAT Site. In my opinion – one of the best sites, Even though I can’t quite warm to it without Eggman. SBK Site
However, Eggman IS in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games To be released later this year! Here are some sightings –
Looks like one to look forward to!

Today, I received Sonic Unleashed one day early! From the first 4 levels, the game certainly looks excellent! I mean this in the way of being great to play, but also a wonderful investment for Eggman fans!
The first cut scene, which includes Eggman up to what he does best, really is like watching a cutting edge CGI film. Eggman’s voice actor – Mike Pollock, in case you didn’t know – gives a fabulous performance as usual!
The only first-impressions quibble I have, is that SEGA seem to have added rather difficult, quick-succession, “Push the button we show” tasks. These are certainly not the sort of thing I enjoy in a Sonic game, but of course, may be just the thing for you.
More Sonic Unleashed thoughts to come over the course of my playthrough! I will cover any spoilers, in case anyone wants to find out for themselves.
